Eden.

The fishing has dramatically improved from late evening onwards, good size brown trout and sea trout three pound plus showing interest. When there are cooler periods during showers in the daytime, the fish are responding very well to both wet and dry flies. Fishing in the faster broken water is quite productive mid-day and the slower glides in the evening a better prospect.

There seems to be a few sea trout moving on dark and also one or two salmon, it would seem that the salmon are more inclined to run during darkness rather than in the daylight with the low clear, warm water.

On the middle river with good friends Matt and Tim this week, the weather was just perfect, although the fishing started well but soon faded as the temperatures rose, the surroundings and good company made up for it.

A couple of Roe deer came down to the waters edge to cool down.
