All Rod Fisheries on the river Eden were requested to implement the following Voluntary Rod Conservation Measures as from Monday of this week when the Spring Salmon byelaw restrictions were lifted. A daily kill limit of 1 salmon per day, a maximum season kill limit of 6 salmon. A daily kill limit of 1 sea trout per day, a maximum season kill of 3 sea trout. All gravid cock and hen fish to be released in a responsible manner, quickly and safely as possible.
