Eden.

As the water dropped and cleared on the 7th there were big fish movements through the lower beats all day. On the 8th the main run of fish seen were off the afternoon tide with some very big salmon among them. The middle river is now in very fine order with the perfect height for the fly, the lower beats will come into good ply on the 9th.

The water temperature is at a perfect 55oF with a south westerly and intermittent cloud cover, very good conditions for this time of the year.

The trout fishing will pick up again when the water levels drop further, good hatches of sedge in the late evenings. The tides are building this week, good overcast conditions with fish on the move.
