Eden.

A couple of well needed rises of river levels during the first week of August due to heavy rain have got a few fish on the move. At last there are salmon moving through the middle Eden beats after the long dry period. There have been quite a few salmon caught to various methods in between floods as the river is dropping to most methods.

Another two meter rise of water on the 5th, this should have now scoured the river bed of all algae, debris and cooled things down a little. There is a fairly dry week ahead with not too much rain forecast, when the levels are down to a decent fishing height we should see some good fish movements.
