Eden

The sand martins have finally arrived on the 11th April, just when the warmer weather is about to arrive! Still quiet on the salmon front although the trout fishing remains good in the low water.

Inverts 013

The evening of the 13th April brought much rain into the county along with high winds that carried on through Sunday; the river began to rise steady all day to around two feet with colour. The week ahead is forecast unsettled with more strong winds bringing in the wet stuff, at least they are from a warmer westerly direction now instead of the persistent cool easterly direction that often spoils the fishing. The air temperature is into double figures at last during the day and the water temperature is gradually rising also.
