I had a few hours on the Eden at Lazonby Estates with my good friend Tom.
The water was low and clear, these were ideal conditions once the cool wind had dropped for a period of time and the air warmed a few degrees.
When the hatch of olives began, the fish were instantly on the prod
Sport was pretty hectic from just before noon and lasted to around 3pm, it was only when the air temperatures began to drop again did the action slow down.
There were some very nice brown trout caught on both wet and dry flies,
along with a few grayling, all in fine condition and quickly returned. Happy days!
