River Eden

Reports today of a good pod of grilse going through the middle river, did not see any yesterday go past on the lower beats, I think they must have come in on the night tide. Typical though, we were fishing for trout today when they ran through; Sid's law!

Chris and Dana we with me on the river today who just got married and they are from from Texas, we had a great time out and it was a pity that all the trout that were on the take were on the small side and not what they are used to back home.

Chris did an exceptional job of the fly casting for a novice and they were real nice people to be with!

Off to the Tweed now for three days with Illtyd to do a salmon course at Tweedswood, it's a hard life but someone has to do it!
