Had a great day out today with my good friends Bill and Robert on the lower river, always nice to see them and i do enjoy their good company. With the air at 25oC, bright sun, no insect activity and zero cloud cover, it was not going to be a walk in the park.
But it is never impossible, you have to keep working, these fish are easily spooked in such conditions. Fishing the runs with nymphs worked during the morning.
An airborne brownie, are these fish wild? Furious is the usual answer!
