What a start to the new salmon season for my very good friend Duncan Goldsmith! Fishing three rivers in three days, the Dee, the Tay and the Tweed, it was the Tay that came up trumps.
Fishing on the Tay last Thursday at Newtyle with Darren Lewis, this beautiful salmon decided that he liked the fly more than Duncan did and a bit of a barney ensued.
Well done Duncan and great work from Darren who had the unenviable task of getting the salmon out, certainly a fish of a lifetime!
