The swifts have arrived on the 4th, there seems to be plenty of small, medium and large dark olives for them not to mention the Grannom and stone fly.
The river levels have dropped off now to around summer level on the 6th, the salmon fishing is tapering off as it does so, the trout fishing improving with the air temperatures rising.
