River Eden

The Eden is very low and clear at present even with all the rain we had last night. The fishing is sporadic but good when the conditions are right, very little in the way of hatches during the day as you would expect, a few stone fly, yellow may dun and the odd olive and caddis making an appearance.

Even though the fishing may not be full on so to speak, what is the worst that can happen when you are in such beautiful surroundings? The grayling this year may be in short supply for whatever reason, but what there is are of a very good stamp and in fine condition.

Happy days!
