River Eden

Although the weather has been settled and the river at last is in fine order, the fishing has been difficult. A bit of a respite from the gale force winds and rain during May. We are having to go very deep with nymphs and find fast broken water to get any decent sport, with the water at 10oC, a south westerly breeze you would think that is was about as good as it gets! How wrong you can be sometimes.

Saying that we have had some good trout, sea trout and the odd salmon.

My good American friend Don.

We fish in some awful places.

Bob with a nice brown trout.
